High Sport pants are knit in Italy, on fine gauge, flat-knitting machines. Most pairs are made from two yarns - a long-staple cotton, and a performance Lycra - though some designs incorporate viscose and other novelty yarns. Production time can vary depending on the stitch and style of the pant, whether the garment is knitted in a single color or multiple colors, and whether the design includes engineered patterns or motifs.

Each pant typically requires five hours on the machine and two to three off the machine. Throughout the manufacturing process, each pair of pants is handled by approximately ten people, including knitting technicians, panel inspectors, pressing and washing operators, operators responsible for waistband trimming and crease marking, linking operators, final pressing and packing, and the production manager and quality technicians, who oversee the process at every stage.

High Sport clothes take a long time to make, but nothing compared to how long they’re enjoyed.
